The ingredient options are endless, and the combination of vibrant seasonal fruit and veg makes them oh-so instagram worthy! Smoothie bowl recipes are getting pretty easy to come by, but we have narrowed it down to our top 2 favourites that everyone has to try (in our humble opinion) :).
*Tip: For a delicious drinking smoothie, omit the serving suggestions, add some ice and serve in an Eetrite double walled glass. The glass will keep your smoothie nice and cold.
BERRY & BEETROOT SMOOTHIE BOWL
Makes 1 Serving
You’ll need:
- 1 small banana
- 30g cooked beetroot
- 15ml honey or 10ml stevia
- 150g plain Greek-style yoghurt
- 150g frozen mixed berries
Toppings to serve (optional):
- toasted almonds
- fresh blueberries
- fresh strawberries
- chia seeds
Get started:
Place the banana, beetroot, honey and yoghurt into a blender and blend until smooth. Add the frozen berries and blend again. Pour into your stoneware cereal bowl and top with a selection of toppings. Serve immediately.
PEACH & COCONUT SMOOTHIE BOWL
Makes 1
You’ll need
- 1 small banana
- 2 ripe peaches, roughly chopped
- 5ml mint
- 15ml honey or 10ml stevia
- 120g plain Greek-style yoghurt
- 180g coconut milk, frozen in an ice cube tray
Toppings to serve (optional):
- toasted coconut shavings
- fresh raspberries
- edible flowers
Get started:
Place the banana, peaches, mint, honey and yogurt into a blender and blend until smooth. Add the frozen coconut ice cubes and blend again. Pour into an stoneware cereal bowl and top with a selection of serving of toppings. Serve immediately.
