Spicy Thai BBQ Chicken Wings

Sticky, sweet deliciousness at the tips of your fingers! This is a great option for a mid-week dinner with the family, or even better, these thai bbq chicken wings could easily be served at a dinner party. Get the serviettes out!

Thai bbq chicken wings
Ingredients:

1/2 cup white sugar
1 tsp paprika
50ml worcester sauce
50ml tomato sauce
10-15ml tabasco sauce
25 ml kikkomon soya sauce
1 cup cake flour
10 piece chicken wings – cut at joint

Method:

Dust the chicken in cake flour. ** may be pan-fried or deep-fried
Slightly caramalise the sugar in one of the sauces listed, add all the spices and the remaining sauces and allow to reduce until sticky.
Baste the fried chicken wings with the sticky sauce just before serving to ensure that the crispy texture of the wings stays.

Serve with a fresh side salad or coleslaw on an Eetrite matte black platter.
